Anti-Slavery Day, 18 October 2021

Our key call to action in the run-up to Anti Slavery Day:

The Salvation Army needs your help! Volunteers required!

The Salvation Army are currently recruiting for Transport Volunteer Driver & Chaperones as well as First Responder Volunteers. Drivers & Chaperones transport victims of Modern Slavery to a contracted Safe House, whilst First Responders complete the initial NRM interviews with victims of Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking. Please see link to our website for further information https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/volunteer/anti-trafficking-and-modern-slavery-volunteering or contact ATMSVolunteering@salvationarmy.org.uk

Loves Me/Loves Me Not Bookmarks and Cards
And of equal importance is the prevention of grooming. Traffickers groom young people with the sole objective of trafficking them into sexual exploitation. Help stop it. Get the message out using our Loves Me/Loves Me Not Bookmarks and Cards produced with the kind permission of Yorkshire Soroptimists. Again, we make a small charge for the bookmarks and cards so that we can fund printing more.
