How you can help
There are many and different ways in which you can help our Purple Teardrop Campaign against human trafficking:
Awareness-Raising Posters Purchase our awareness-raising posters and accompanying ‘Signs of Human Trafficking’ A4 cards and display them prominently at your place of work, leisure club, library, church or wherever they will be seen by large numbers of people. The more people know about human trafficking, the more chance there is of finding and freeing victims and stopping the traffickers. 25 posters and 25 “Signs of Human Trafficking” A4 cards cost £5 Larger quantities available. Crimestoppers Note the Crimestoppers number – 0800 555 111 – and, even better, put it into your mobile ready to report in confidence any suspicious activity that you think may involve trafficked people. Don’t forget to give the number to friends, family and colleagues. Getting in touch with Crimestoppers helps the police to free trafficked victims and arrest the traffickers
Purple Teardrop Pin-badges Purchase our Purple Teardrop pin-badges – the minimum order is 25 for onward sale/distribution to your circle of colleagues, friends and family or perhaps you belong to a social group, church or voluntary organisation. Most importantly, WEAR your pin-badge to show your support for trafficking victims and your abhorrence of the traffickers. 25 badges and 25 accompanying pin-badge leaflets cost £27.50. Larger quantities available. Download order form
Spread the Word Launch the Purple Teardop Campaign in your community. Our CD contains our model of excellence to hold a launch event and spread the word where you live. The CD is particularly geared to Soroptimist clubs but can equally be used by other organisations such as Women’s Institute, Townswomen’s Guild, Mothers’ Union, Rotary and more. The whole idea is to make others aware – talk, raise funds and distribute information – by making use of our documentation, knowledge and resources Our CD - including model of excellence, launch documentation, powerpoint presentation and human trafficking information - costs £10 Download order form

Buy Fair Trade It is extreme poverty that drives women and children into slavery. If nothing else, consider more carefully what you are buying and support Fair Trade labels. Foods such as cocoa production are particularly prone to slave labour.
Purchase prices include postage and packaging. Proceeds are ploughed straight back into the Purple Teardrop Campaign to continue our awareness-raising work and to provide support for trafficking victims once freed.
